A graduate of Winthrop University with a degree in Accounting from its nationally accredited College of Business Administration, Roman began his professional career in federal finance. After completing advanced training with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, he served as a Financial Management Trainee at the Charleston Naval Base and later advanced to Audit Supervisor in the Vendor Contracts Division. That background instilled a deep understanding of risk assessment, compliance and financial structure that now directly benefits his mortgage clients.
Roman transitioned into mortgage banking in Greenville, South Carolina and later expanded his practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. Over the past 13 years, he has built a reputation as a trusted advisor for construction financing, jumbo lending, home equity strategies and wealth preservation through real estate. His approach goes beyond approvals. He helps clients build intelligently, leverage equity strategically and structure financing that aligns with long-term wealth goals.

Roman resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife Elizabeth, a registered nurse and kidney transplant coordinator, and their son. As proud parents of a child on the autism spectrum, Roman and Elizabeth are active advocates for autism awareness and support initiatives at both local and national levels.
Outside of work, Roman enjoys swimming, soccer, running and golf. His disciplined lifestyle mirrors the focused, methodical approach he brings to every mortgage transaction.
